Mischievous Mischang
--------------------------------

Silently peeps out the sun
After a lazy slumber.
Asks in a gentle tone
About the michaung
That plugged through
The city that was fear gripped
If the tempest lost its temper?
Gently opening the eyes
Saw the sorrows of the people
Waddling through the waters
For their life to be lived
Many waiting for the dawn
For their domicile that went down
To be rebuilt and be upright
Those went to the beds starving
Tried to catch up a sleep in vain
For the beds they shared
With the reptiles
That came by the deluge
Wanting for a shelter
For their homes too inundated
That terrible night passed by
Children all happy
Seeing the fishes swim by
Inside their home.
The roads that saw
Automobiles that went disciplined by law
Now had the free sail of canoe
Which saved dozens
The cars were buoyant
To freely float and dance in the waters
Asif they are unleashed
From the human control.
Now the sun is all up
For the day to dry up
The waters that inundated
To bringeth smile
To all those who longed
For a dawn......
